Conducted during Science Technology Hour, a compulsory two-hour science class for junior high school students.
Curriculum development for project management experience
Converting four end-of-year lessons into a project management class
The curriculum was designed to give students the opportunity to experience project management during their junior high school years and to prepare them for project-based learning in high school science.
At the request of the school, Shibaura Institute of Technology and a non-profit organization collaborated on this project.
“Builder and Messenger”, “Model House Project” and “Straw Tower Project”.
Awarded the Japan Engineering Education Association Achievement Award and the Kanto Engineering Education Association Achievement Award
