Project management of a cultural festival.
The 5th Workshop on the Conclusion Phase
Part of the activities of the Project Management Incubation Association
This was the fifth workshop for the members of the Cultural Festival (Memorial Festival) Committee, mainly second year high school students.
As this year’s festival was the final phase, we had a reflection meeting after the actual festival.
As an exercise.
- Preparing for the conclusion (brainstorming the good and the bad, etc.)
- Reviewing and confirming the achievement of the original goals
- Team survey creation and effectiveness tabulation
- Identifying Lessons Learned
- Creating a project folder
At the end of the project, each student was asked to conduct and submit a self-evaluation of the project using the evaluation criteria table (rubric) created with the teachers.
The next presentation is scheduled.
A workshop on the coalescing phase of the project will be held at Seigakuin Junior and Senior High School.
Please contact us if you are interested.

Workshop: “Project Management for the Commemorative Festival (Cultural Festival)” Concluding Phase
Lecturer: Tomio Yanagisawa, Project Management Incubation Association
Also this year as a member of the NPO Project Management Incubation Association, in the Saitama Prefectural General Education Center, we will participate in the workshop of the new principal.
Last year was the first one, and this year we’ve had many meetings and heated discussions to create version 2 together with our friends.
We have sought to make the content as easy to understand as possible so that people will take action after the training.
Tomorrow will be the real training, and I’m looking forward to it.
We hope that the project will create awareness of management in the school field and lead to school reform.
