The 9th BBCOACH PROJECT individual registration deadline is now!

The 2011 Ninth BBCoach Project individual application deadline is coming up!

As the end of the year approaches, the deadline for individual applications for the 2011 BBCoach Project (4th grade to high school students) is fast approaching.
Until midnight on December 31, 2011!

As long as the data can be published on our website, we can challenge you to create a game, a full-fledged website, or a video.
However, they must participate as a team.
You will also be asked to keep a record of your team’s communication during the production process on SNS.
It provides an excellent learning environment where you can experience the basic tasks of project management without even knowing it.
Parents and school teachers are welcome to join in as coaches!
Members of the general public can also experience a learning coach.

The project is organized by Roundtable.com (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo), a provider of virtual school learning environments (English learning portal sites and free virtual learning spaces) that support students in obtaining U.S. high school diplomas in Japan.

Implemented since FY 2003. This is the ninth annual Webb contest.
A free community of junior creators and the learning coaches, businesses and community members who support them.
Participation is free. Evaluation points are higher for teams of different ages, remote team structures, and teams that are able to work together with an awareness of project management.
We hope you will join us.
Another mash-up presentation will be held at the end of March 2012.

We have started to receive letters from people who have experienced contests and have succeeded in getting into difficult universities!

Student awards for project management of a cultural festival

As an activity of the Project Management Incubation Association, the students of Shibaura Institute of Technology Junior and Senior High School were honored.

This is the second year of learning to “project manage a cultural festival.

The students, who have been participating since last year, were already hooked on project management. I hope you will continue this study when you go to college.

I can’t wait to see what kind of project manager I’m going to be. By the way, this student also experienced the BBCoach Project. She continued to participate as a team member and as a learning coach.

Project management and communication robots

I proposed the idea of a “storyteller robot,” and it finally started to work.

It was decided to develop a workshop characterized by the experience of reporting a local story, transplanting the story to the robot, preparation for the robot to tell the story (adaptation to give the action), and presentation experience.

The story takes place in Tahara Motocho, Nara.
There seems to be a lot of stories left.
On a hot summer day, I thought I’d take the kids on a journey through a world of spinning words and fantasies.

The Secret of Success” @ Tokyo Women’s University

On Wednesday, June 14, 2011, at 1:15 p.m., I will be giving a workshop in the form of a seminar at Tokyo Woman’s Christian University’s Career English Island.

Career English Island is an institution that supports students who want to use the English language to develop their future careers. It operates as a distinctive university project.

This year’s workshop will be conducted as follows
In the first half, you’ll learn how to write the documents required for project management by analyzing success stories from old tales.
In the second half of the class, students worked as a team to create a picture book with a success story in English, moving on to PBL-type learning.

All students of Tokyo Women’s University are welcome to attend.

What stories will be born? Stay tuned!

Sending out the Nara version of “The Secret of Success”!

PM Momotaro

A workshop called “PM Momotaro” will be held in Nara.
Tawaramoto-cho, Isagi-gun, Nara Prefecture, is publishing “Momotaro’s Final Version” as the birthplace of Momotaro. Momotaro’s story is a familiar story to both Japanese and Nara people. We would like to present a workshop that will be a chance for elementary and junior high school students to learn project management while thinking about the secrets of their successes.

This time, the NPO Layer Box from Nara agreed to participate in the project. We are a support group that makes traditional culture more accessible to children and encourages parents and children to participate in it in the community to pass it on to the next generation. I’m excited to see what kind of people I’ll meet. I hope you all get together…
